This web site is designed to help LDS organists and others serving in music callings. Much of the music can be downloaded and printed for home and church use but is copyrighted material. While this site is dedicated mainly to serve organists, there are pieces for many different uses. Piano solos, Organ solos, Vocal Duets, Original songs and arrangements for choir and piano, and Choir and Organ.

In addition, several alternate accompaniments for organ of favorite LDS hymns are included. These have been used in Stake Conference and Sacrament meetings to lift and add inspiration to congregational singing. The congregation sings the melody in unison, while the organ provides an simple alternate accompaniment.

All organ pieces are written in three staves with a separate pedal part shown. These pieces will only be fully realized when played correctly with hands and feet at the organ.

Please visit this site often as we are always adding new music. The site is very simple in operation. You may search the music by category or type (called tags) or by title. Some of the music is also available with a demo recording so you may get an idea of how the piece sounds.

The Christmas season is fast upon us once again. We have a number of Christmas offerings here. Our most popular professionally printed piece is “Out of the East” . This is an SATB arrangement of a song by Harry Noble. It is one of the few available that describes the wise men traveling to see the Christ child. Because of copyright protection, this piece is only available in a printed form. A sample of the first two pages is available for download. You can purchase a copy at http://www.daymurraymusic.com. We provide many copies of this piece every Christmas Season.

“Hosanna To Our King” is an original Christmas song for SSATB with piano accompaniment. This song is not very long and makes a good opening number for a Christmas program. This piece has been performed many times in Ward & Stake choirs, The Murray High A Cappella choir, and various small groups. This piece is available in a professionally printed form only. Last year we posted an SATB arrangement of a Primary favorite “The Nativity Song” which includes all five verses of this delighful song. This setting is designed for Sacrament Meeting or Christmas Fireside levels of performance. This is our most downloaded arrangement.

We also offer two organ accompaniments, a last verse version of “Joy to the World” , and a 3 verse version of “Silent Night” for congregational singing.

In the United States patriotic hymns are often sung around July 4th. Today we have added two free organ accompaniments of the National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner” .

The first is in the same key as the Hymnbook and is intended for a 3rd verse alternate accompaniment, although it can be used for any verse. The second version has a whole-step key change to Bb before the verse begins.
